Nestled in the hills of northwest Washington, D.C., Hillwood welcomes visitors from around the world with its gracious hospitality. Escape into an oasis only five miles from downtown D.C., explore the Mansion, dine at the Café, and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the formal gardens.

Start your visit with a welcome from executive director Kate Markert by way of the orientation film, which plays every half-hour in the Visitor Center and is a great way to start your day at Hillwood, especially if it's your first visit. Whether you prefer to experience Hillwood at your own leisurely pace with the guiding voice of our popular audio tour or the structure of a docent-guided tour, a day of beauty and serenity awaits. No matter which one you choose, all of the touring options are included with your suggested donation. Staff and volunteers will be on hand at the Visitor Center when you arrive to help you plan your visit.

Adults and seniors receive $3 off the suggested donation for weekday visits and $1 off for weekend visits when reservations are made online. Prices shown reflect the discount.
