Hillwood Visit 2019
Nestled in the hills of northwest Washington, D.C., Hillwood welcomes visitors from around the world with its gracious hospitality. Escape into an oasis only five miles from downtown D.C., explore the Mansion, dine at the Café, and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the formal gardens.

A variety of touring options are included in your suggested donation, including audio tours, docent-guided tours, or exploring at your own pace. Guided mansion and garden tours are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with registration beginning at opening each day. Groups and members can reserve places on the tours. College students: $10
Children (6-18): $5
Children (under 6): Free
Hillwood members: Free

Adults and seniors receive $3 off the suggested donation for weekday visits and $1 off for weekend visits when you make your reservations online.

These programs are a wonderful way to introduce your child to the fabulous world of Hillwood.

2019 Adult Programs

Engage with people and ideas through programs that explore historic themes with contemporary speakers. Encounter works of art up close in the intimate and personalized spaces of Hillwood’s mansion and gardens. Delve deeper into intriguing topics of art, fashion, design, and history with Hillwood’s curators, horticulturists, staff, distinguished experts, and international scholars, at study days, lectures, tours, and book talks.
